Peanut’s Checkup
Today I went to my second prenatal appointment. At my last one I had 10 vials of blood drawn so that various tests could be done…including cancer and HIV!!! Not that I was worried about either one of these, but jeez it was like,
We now interrupt your thoughts of baby names and breast pumps for this brief STD and cancer screening!!!
Of course everything was perfect with me and the baby….thanks to the Lord. It was a pretty great appointment. I had another ultrasound, which was a surprise to me and to Chris (who had to stay home and work…if we had known he would have been there for sure). My last ultrasound one was done vaginally, but this time I had the real thing. They squeezed a huge glob of gel on my stomach and began searching to Peanut. I have to say that we have a very active little one.
First the little arms were waving everywhere then the legs began kicking. Even Peanuts little body was wiggling around. The cutest part was when the little hands came together as if in prayer. Of course that tiny heart was beating out of the little chest..literally! You could see it pumping away.
On the way home I stopped at Bye Bye Baby for a quick dash around the store. I really wanted to check out the diaper bags. My favorite brand are Timi & Leslie. Their bags look like real purses yet are little baby toting machines on the inside. I fell in love with the Hannah design.

(It comes with a ton of accessories and even has stroller clips so you don’t have to lug it on your shoulder everywhere.)
(I luv luv luv all the nooks sand crannies on the inside. There is a place to store everything imaginable.)
I was tempted to buy it, but decided I better wait. There were a few more that caught my eye and I want do a full diaper bag post down the line. However somehow I could not leave the store empty handed and found these cute onesies begging to go home with me. I think they will be a great gift for both grandmothers.
(This is for Chris’ mom…I figured I would send everybody to her when I need R&R…especially if Peanut is a boy. She had three of them!)
(My mother has sworn for years that she will be the Grandma that spoils. I have sworn off sweets, junk food and a variety of other things for my children, but she has literally told me, “That’s at your house. When it come to over here what happens at Grandma’s stays at Grandma’s.” I know she cannot wait to get this shirt to confirm her sentiments.)

ooh this is wonderful again. Congrats! I love the shirts, I think I like the brown one better but both are just plain hilarious!
I like the bag. It looks like something that you carry for a while. Congrats on your pregnancy.
