Healed From Pregnancy Sickness
I haven’t posted lately because I have been feeling nauseous and tired. From the time I would wake up I could count down like clockwork the five hours it would take me to fall apart. I would get a severe migraine, nauseous, motion sick, and extremely tired. It was a real battle. Well earlier this week we had lunch with Pastors Van and Regina of Solid Rock of Atlanta.
They are some of the most loving and caring pastors we have come across. Their whole church is that way. You literally walk in the door and are greeted by sincere smiles and hugs. The people remember you and want to get to know you. It is a VERY RARE experience.
Well our lunch turned out to be over three hours long and if we had the time they would have liked to stay longer. Surprisingly it was getting close to 5pm I didn’t feel any of my usual symptoms in fact I felt great. They have a very strong healing ministry so I assumed that just being around them was having an effect on me. As we were talking I mentioned to Regina the symptoms I had been going through and immediately she took my hand and said,
I need to pray for your healing. The Lord has redeemed you from sickness. Even that related to pregnancy.
I knew this already, but somehow I had not been able to overcome on my own. I needed help. So right in the middle of The Cheescake Factory she laid hands on me and prayed. It was nothing crazy she just spoke to the sickness and told it to leave. She thanked God for the healing that Christ gave us on the cross and said Amen. That was it. No falling out or tingly feelings. We just believed that it worked.
After that she gave me her cell phone number in case symptoms came back and I needed help or if I just wanted to talk. And just so you know, we have only been to their church a handful of times while visiting Atlanta and this was our first time actually sitting down with them. Not only that but their only son was getting married a few days later out of the country and they were preparing for that, yet they took the time to spend time with Chris and I. It was an amazing time.
Well it has been almost a week since that she prayed for me and I still have no syptoms/ sickness from pregnancy. In case you are wondering I will list them for you:
- Nausea/ Vomiting
- Fatigue
- Headaches
- Constipation
- Sore Breast
- Acne
- Weight Gain (KIDDING!)
I know that is TMI….lol. I haven’t shared my faith much on this blog, but I think it would be a diservice to you, the Lord and myself if I don’t share things like this. If you are going through an illness or have syptoms of something that is supposed to be “natural” I would encourage you to get a better understanding of what God’s Word teaches on this subject.
Here is a great teaching by Andrew Wommack that set me free in this area. Its free to download. http://www.awmi.net/extra/audio/1036
BTW…Here is a pic of me pre-healing at my In-Laws 57th wedding anniversary dinner. It was two days before we met with them and I had to vomit several times that day…even in the middle of the dinner!!! I looked cute though as my maternity dress was provided by my confused looking mother in the back.

Praise Jesus!!!
Oh Mel! You’re such a blessing. I’m so blessed by this blog. First, to see your family & Chris’ family blending together. Second, the favor of God to bring you in close company with Pastors Van & Regina. Third, eventhough you knew & had revelation that the Jesus healed you of all manner of sickness & disease (includ. pregnancy sickness), God used another person, Pastor Regina, to bring forth full manifestation. We the body need each other.
I’m excited for you!
You are the healed!
