Does This Bump Make Me Look Pregnant?
Around the end of my 7th week my stomach went from bloated to fully puffed out. I couldn’t believe it. Not only is it big, but it was as hard as a rock! When I tried to suck it back in it felt really uncomfortable…so I just let it hang out. I had actually prayed that I would show early. I have wanted to look pregnant even before I was and boy did I get my wish. My tummy blew up so fast that some thought I was having twins or was six weeks further than I really was. My face has even become a little fuller (although I have always had a big head…lol).
I also have noticed that people always look at my stomach. It’s like humans have a pregnancy radar and love to look at a pregnant woman as she waddles around. Strangers strike up conversations with me and seem much more helpful than ever before. I would love to think that its my charm that is doing it, but it’s Peanut who really captivates them.
Believe it or not I am actually a very private person…so I never like to chat too much with strangers. But more often than not my mother is with me and literally by the time I have finished shopping around and come to meet up with her, some nearby strangers will congratulate me on my wedding, pregnancy, and anything else my she may have told them. If they really hit it off they will get an informal invite to my baby shower that is 4 months away! I have even had a few of them touch the bump (of course with my mother encouraging them to do so). I know some women don’t like it, but I actually do. I am proud of my belly and like it when (clean looking) people take an interest in it. I especially like it when I hear a little kid say,
Mommy! Mommy! That lady has a baby in her tummy.
So while I have yet to really get my huge attention grabbing tummy, this little bump has made a big impression already. What do you think? Would you notice this belly? Do you think my bump is small, large or average for 10 weeks?

You look soo beautiful! Pregnancy affects women in so many different ways, so I don’t know that there is a “normal” size for 10 weeks. With that being said, I honeslty would have though you were a little further along. You’re slim though, so it’s going to be very noticeable on you!

First of all, you look absolutely gorgeous – you truly are glowing. Pregnancy certainly agrees with you. You have a cute lil bump! Although I don’t know you personally I’m so happy to see these photos of you because you’ve been talking about wanting to join motherhood for quite some time now on your blog. I agree with Christina, you appear to be very petite and perhaps that’s why your tummy may seem bigger to you than you think it should. I’ve seen smaller and bigger bellies at 10 weeks – everyone is different. You look beautiful and are carrying it off well

You can definitely tell you are pregnant and your bump is a nice size. Haven’t got a clue what 10 weeks should look like! But you look good. Congratulations again!
