The Word, The Weather and Without The Woman

Sorry for the sporadic posts, but as I let you guys know I am down under in Atlanta. But I have been having a great time with my hubby and his parents. I also have been having a great time with my hair! It has been looking incredible lately…but more on that later.
This morning I went to the golf range with Chris. He was putting on his Shuckie the Clown routine and kept telling people I was his caddy. He made fun of me the whole day. It actually started at the house when he saw me putting makeup on.
Mel, this is the golf range not a beauty pageant.
But, I want to look nice.
For who? The 65 yr old retirees out there?
For myself…I’m sorry but some of us care about how we look (I gave him the once over with my eyes as if to say he looked a mess…which he did!)
Somebody help me. Lord (looking up in prayer) give me the strength…my wife is putting on make-up to play golf.
The Lord won’t here your prayers because you are showing me due benevolence…isn’t that in the Bible?
Yeah, but so is Moses law about divorcing your wife if she takes too long to get ready.
(I give him the crazy stop making stuff up look) I’m the best thing tat ever happened to you …pah-lease!
(rolling his eyes) The best thing that will ever happen to me is when you go out to the car so we can finally go the range…come on Mamacita…time to go.
During this entire conversation both of us we’re trying hard not to laugh at the snaps. The snapping continued all the way to course. Between all the giggles we both got some good hits in.That was until I grew tired of it after 15 min and went to Publix to get chicken fingers – but at least I lasted as long as I did 
It really was great day so I thought I would share part of it.

Omg, your husband reminds me of my husband – always a jokster!
Sometimes my Hubby likes to talk to me about “his wife”…he usually says mean things about “her” and tells me not to tell “her”…and that he’d get in trouble if she finds out that he’s talking to me – he’s such a weirdo!
hehe…yup sounds like my husband. I am always that wife, my wife, or woman. They are all cavemen at heart!
