Naiah Video at 1 Month

I am kinda late at posting this but here is part of a birthday video I took of Naiah when she turned one month. It was also her daddy’s b-day, Jan. 25th. I can’t believe how fat she is…lol.

She’s Here!

Our sweet angel, Adonaiah (ad-oh-NYE-uh) Abigail, was born Christmas Day at 8:24pm.  Her name is taken from the Hebrew name of God Adonai. It means My God is Lord. For short we call her Naiah (Nye-uh). She weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 20 in. long.

We are so in love. I still can’t believe I had her…it’s like a dream.

Maternity Photos

So I have been on hiatus for awhile now, but I thought I would post a few of these. Originally I planned to have these done at a studio but chnaged my mind last minute and just had a friend take them with my camera. During the shoot I was really under the weather and had barely made it out of bed…but I think it went well. We took these in Central Park. I have some ones I took alone as well but will post separately.

I am was 36 weeks and 2 days when these we’re taken. We won’t dicuss how much I actually weigh. But as you can see I am pretty swollen :)

In Case You Were Wondering…

this is what I look like now.  I am big as a house! BTW…my hair is a mess and I have no makeup on so please ignore that.

I have gained 20 lbs so far! Looks like I will end up around the 30-35 lbs weight gain mark.  While I wear a maternity small nothing on me feels that way. Other than my stomach I have gained a ton in my legs. The weight has become burdensome on my back. When the baby has a growth spurt my stomach feels like it is going to break open. Oh and yes…I waddle. But that is mostly due to my thighs rubbing together…lol. It’s actually pretty funny. I am glad that I have less than 90 days until I can work some of this baby blubber off.  Other than that I am fabulous…lol. I am thankful for my little Sweet Pea and praise God for keeping her and I in good health.

Baby Girl Hair Accessories

One of the most enjoyable aspects of having a girl is clothes shopping. There are so many more options than there are for boys. More than just clothes I love finding Sweet Pea accessories…especially for her hair. I was born with a TON of  hair and Chris had hair as well so my expectation is that she will have alot of hair too. However if she is a baldy I still want her to look like a girl. So yes…if she only has a little fuzz on her head she will rock tons of bows and flowers on it.

My mother was not a fan of hair accessories when I was a baby, but she did occasionally put the token barrette in my hair.

Clearly she dressed me in a very feminine way most of the time. Although they were expecting a boy so there are a few shots of me around the house with blue boy pajamas.

I am thankful we found out the sex early enough so I would not be in this predicament.
